
Instead of using shapes and colors to make a pattern, a watercolor quilt
blends
small floral squares by arranging the darker and lighter fabrics in
different places.
The darker fabrics represent the mountains with the lighter fabrics
being the evening sky as it becomes pink.
Beads were hand-sewn at every corner
of every square, with extra pink and red beads around the sun.
